The office chair is an important piece of discount office furniture. You’ve got to figure out just the right chair to make your life easier and a little more livable so that you don’t end up with what I like to refer to as, ‘butt bone pain’. You see, an office chair that lacks sufficient cushioning for the average person’s bottom can be really detrimental to your health and well-being over time.
Nearly everyone has a few small vertebrae that extend past the bottom of their back. These vertebrae are all that remains of the tails our ancestors had. Since humans now spend a good deal of time on their bums, these vertebrae can actually become a source of pain. They can bend ever so slightly under the pressure created from sitting on a hard surface and lead to nerve pain and difficulty sitting. I’ve heard there are treatments for this kind of painful condition but it’s not something you’d like to undergo in normal circumstances.
So even though it can be tempting to pickup a piece of discount office furniture that lacks a lot of cushioning, I suggest you keep on browsing until you find a chair that fits.
